Everyone and his hamster has taken some sort of credit for this wacky innovation. Including the media people who warned us that it couldn’t be done.
Plain and simple: Art Director Doug Bramah and I came up with it and BBDO Creative Directors Carlos Moreno and Peter Ignazi put their might behind it all the way to Cannes. Account Director Brent Rivard made it feasible and fundable. Client Mark Daprato totally got it and gave it the kiss of life. What a pleasure to work with such focus. What an excuse to drink to such excess.

From McCann-Erickson's windows, Art Director Terry Iles and I could watch the construction of Toronto’s Sky Dome. Media had secured space on the Jumbotron. This huge crowd-pleaser was much-awarded and selected for Canada’s Advertising Hall of Fame. Now, ask Director Steve Gordon how long it takes to make a snack.
